Beth can hit notes higher than her hair is long. Spending many former years in the theater world, Beth brings a sense of performance to the group. You go get those high notes, Sop 1 girl!
As a Sop 1, Lindsey enjoys the high life. Outside of the Cats and work, you can find her blowing countless bubbles with her 3 year old daughter, decorating and redecorating her house, and refreshing Netflix impatiently waiting for the next season of “Bake Off” to drop.
Sue adds to the musical backgrounds in the group, having played trumpet (yes, trumpet! ... awesome). She always enjoyed singing too, with some time with the glee club. Sue brings a great ear and can always find that tough note on the Sop 2 part. How does she do it?
Camille traverses the middling world of Sop 2, but sometimes wanders into the zones of Alto 1 or Sop 1 when inspiration strikes. When this neuro-nerd is not playing Broadway music on the piano or belting out "I'll Make a Man Out of You" in the car, you may find her dreaming up her next children's novel.
Caroline joins us after some great experiences singing classical and gospel. When she is not teaching piano or French music, she is keeping the Alto 1s on their toes, able to hit that crazy tough note in the chord. Caroline sings Alto 1 with frequent visits as an Sop 2.
From Alto land, Alice's voice has travelled through the strange lands of classical arias to jazz big band. She is quite excited to explore new music aboard the cat-venture ship and sing boldly where no man has sung before. Alice too sings Alto 1 with frequent visits as an Soprano 2.
Rachel brings some rock and roll to the group as a former lead singer of a cover band. When she isn't belting out the hits she is devoted to making a kinder world, by building ethical brands.
She sings low, but walks tall. Ilsa sang a cappella in college as a Dartmouth Rockapella and longed for the tight harmonies and tight friendships that could come with a small group with great music and amazing people. Ilsa sings Alto 2.
When she is not singing her heart out, she is healing hearts: our new resident resident. Anna has put choirs together wherever she goes and we are happy she is in ours!
Emma is a proud Alto 2 who cut her teeth on jazz, madrigals, and college a cappella. She has taught high school, lived in France, and eaten more Twizzlers than should be humanly possible.
